I don't know how amused my character will be to hear of this, but an exaggerated form of the lower-energy end of Herbert from Family Guy was the best example I could pull out of my memory — still more croak/rasp/"roundness", no whistles, possibly a shade or two more effeminate and probably distinctly younger (think 20s-30s)
